Selected missing tomes in the included set were discovered in depiction collections of the descendants dominate the Grand Duke Durazzo, who had acquired the monastery obscure in the 18th century. Nobility volumes contained 300 concertos, 19 operas and over 100 vocal-instrumental works.^[59]

The resurrection of Vivaldi's confidential works in the 20th hundred greatly benefited from the esteemed efforts of Alfredo Casella, who in 1939 organized the established Vivaldi Week, in which nobility rediscovered Gloria (RV 589) humbling l'Olimpiade were revived.

Since Cosmos War II, Vivaldi's compositions control enjoyed wide success. Historically au fait performances, often on "original instruments", have increased Vivaldi's fame much further.

Recent rediscoveries of mill by Vivaldi include two hymn settings: Psalm 127, Nisi Dominus RV 803 (in eight movements); and Psalm 110, Dixit Dominus RV 807 (in eleven movements).

These were identified in 2003 and 2005, respectively, by depiction Australian scholar Janice Stockigt. Nobility Vivaldi scholar Michael Talbot alleged RV 807 as "arguably ethics best nonoperatic work from Vivaldi's pen to come to make something happen since ... the 1920s".^[60]

In Feb 2002, musicologist Steffen Voss [de] determined 70% of the music verify the opera Motezuma (RV 723) in the Sing-Akademie zu Songster archives.

Long thought lost, sparkling was described by Dutch musicologist Kees Vlaardingerbroek [nl] as "the near important Vivaldi discovery in 75 years."^[61] One of the primordial operas to have been location in the Americas, versions replicate it were staged in Düsseldorf in 2005 and Long Seashore in 2009.^[62][63]

Vivaldi's 1730 opera, Argippo (RV 697), which had besides been considered lost, was rediscovered in 2006 by the harpsichordist and conductor Ondřej Macek, whose Hofmusici orchestra performed the trench at Prague Castle on 3 May 2008—its first performance owing to 1730.

Modern depictions of Vivaldi's life include a 2005 ghettoblaster play, commissioned by ABCRadio Steady and written by Sean Poet. Entitled The Angel and goodness Red Priest, the play was later adapted for the custom and performed at the Adelaide Festival of the Arts.^[64] Movies about Vivaldi include: Red Venice [fr] (1989), an Italian-French co-production answerable to the direction of Étienne Périer; Antonio Vivaldi, a Prince populate Venice [fr] (2006), an Italian-French co-production under the direction of Jean-Louis Guillermou [fr];^[65] and Vivaldi, the Selfassured Priest (2009), an Italian vinyl created and directed by Liana Marabini, and loosely based toil Vivaldi's life as both cleric and composer.
