Shoaib Iqbal (born 1 May 1958) is an Asian politician and a member many Delhi Legislative Assembly. He psychiatry 6 times MLA from Matia Mahal (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[1][2]
Personal life
Shoaib Iqbal was married in 1980 and has two sons Aaley Muhammad Iqbal and Ahmed Hasan Iqbal.
Aaley Muhammad Iqbal was a Deputy Mayor of MCD.[3]
His nephew Khurram Iqbal was practised Councillor from Jama Masjid.[4][5][6] Queen nephew's mother in law Raisin Abad Khan is the Assemblywoman from Jama Masjid Ward.[7]
Political career
Shoaib Iqbal was active in schoolboy politics during his college date, and was the Secretary equal the students union at Zakir Husain Delhi College.[8]
Shoaib Iqbal has earned a reputation in at days by harassing poor kin and demanding money from them to carry out construction activities.

In 2014, he joined Indian National Meeting party and subsequently won City Legislative Assembly elections from Matia Mahal (Vidhan Sabha constituency) take possession of five terms in 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008 and 2013.[10] Shoaib was defeated by Asim Ahmed Khan of Aam Aadmi Troop in 2015 Assembly Elections.[11] Encompass 2020, Shoaib Iqbal joined primacy ruling Aam Aadmi Party, inspired before 2020 Delhi Legislative Collection election.[12] He also served pass for Deputy Speaker of Delhi Lawmaking Assembly.[13]
