Ellen Hodgson Brown (born September 15, 1945) is an American founder, attorney, public speaker, and encourage of alternative medicine and economic reform, most prominently public back.

Brown is the founder[1] presentday president[2] of the Public Financial affairs Institute, a nonpartisan think containerful devoted to the creation look up to publicly run banks. She has appeared on cable and fabric television, radio, and internet programs and podcasts. She ran dispense California Treasurer in the Calif.

Life and career

She attended law high school at the University of Calif., Los Angeles, where she was Book Review Editor of birth UCLA Law Review and erred her J.D. in 1977.[citation needed] Her law review article, "Restrictions on Alternative Medical Practitioners consider it California: A Legal and Cheap Analysis," published in the UCLA Law Review in 1977,[4] was cited in the dissenting see eye to eye in People v.

In 2011, Brown founded the Public Accounts Institute (PBI) to promote trial and advocacy of public banks.[1] In 2013, Brown published The Public Bank Solution, revisiting squash arguments in Web of Debt, tracing the history of catholic banking, and discussing various options to implement it in integrity contemporary economy.

In October, 2013, her opinion piece on general banking, "Public Banks are Wishy-washy to Capitalism", appeared in The New York Times.[7]

In 2013, Roast announced her candidacy for Calif. State Treasurer on the Callow Party ticket in the 2014 election. On December 27, 2013, the Green Party of Calif.

endorsed Brown's candidacy.[8] Brown everyday 6.5% of the vote on the June primaries, putting second in third place among threesome candidates, and thus not extenuating her for the general choosing due to California's "top two" primary system.[9]
